Marketing Manager

Our Client is a famous German mpany and engaged in automotive technology, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology industry. Report to: Marketing Director

Main Responsibilities:

1. Define and implement the regional BU marketing strategy to ensure that products are successfully introduced and marketed throughout the entire life cycle to drive growth.

2. Responsible for BU IN turnover and IM (profit) in China

3. Support the development and implementation of the BU IN strategy for China

4. Conduct market analysis including competitor positioning that can be used as inputs to the BU IN strategy

5. Analyze BU IN market situation and take necessary actions to gain market share and improve market positioning

6. Contribute to product and service development by anticipating market trends, end-user and customer needs

7. Conduct commercial training sessions regularly and ensure training success (internal and customers). Deliver input for development of BU specific commercial training material to Product Training & Knowledge (ST-BU/MKK)

8. Support Product Introduction Process (PIP) on all defined process steps, including market input and RSO/CSO introduction plan

9. Contribute to initial product pricing and manage price maintenance and repositioning and support ST-BU/MKR of the country with up to date price lists

10. Support the development of promotions in China

11. Support sales and business development teams in China with customer management and customer visits

12. Coordinate and support regional inventory sell-off programs (EOL, excess inventory)

13. Support & help plan product launch in China incl. follow-up evaluation

14. Provide input for business planning and regular review of product planning/forecasting

15. Support regional cross-BU activities (e.g. events, trade shows)

16. Support spot pricing process with active involvement in decision process

17. Provide input for CSO annual action plans


Key Requirements:

1. B2B Marketing experience in MNC

2. Solid communication skills, incl. business English

3. Ability to professionally communicate and correspond with executive management

4. Comfortable in an environment where English is a second language

5. In depth knowledge of China, International experience is an advantage

6. Sales and marketing of electronic security technology products and solutions

7. Min. Bachelor degree in Business and Marketing
