Global Sourcing Project Leader

Main Responsibilities:

-Lead and coordinate project team by implementing actions on sourcing projects from global locations and/or internal customers to ensure sourcing projects are completed on time, meeting budget and target requirements
-Identify and develop local supplier base for sourcing projects and production materials which is in-line with Corporate quality standards at competitive cost
-Prepare RFQ package and collect competitive quotes from multiple suppliers for evaluation purposes
-Evaluate and select supplier by collaborating with cross-functional team which includes site visits to suppliers and potential suppliers
-Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions in consultation with sourcing project team
-Communicate with local suppliers on Haworth material requirement of quality, cost, and delivery, and establish good partnership relations
-Ensure and collaborate with local suppliers on proper process control, quality assurance, cost competitiveness and supply continuity

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Business or Engineering
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in domestic purchasing/sourcing and working experience with engineering knowledge in multi-national manufacturing environment leading a team
-Strong communication skills
-Strong time and project management skills
-Proactive working attitude
-Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin
