HR Manager

Our Client is a US MNC. Report to: HR Director

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure HR management, i.e. compensation & benefits, training and development, performance development process, discipline, employee relations in the region assigned is in compliance with Avon China HR policies, procedures and practices.
  2. Put right people in right position at right time for the region by providing line management with adequate guideline, supports, services and resources in terms of recruitment and talent development, both internally and externally.

Key Requirements:

  1. University graduate or above.
  2. Minimum 8 years experience in HR management in which 3 years in managerial positions. Experience in both HR generalist role and HR specialist role are desirable. Solid working experience in a global company is a must.
  3. Understand fundamental theories and prevailing practices of HR management in business settings.
  4. Understand China labour market situation.
  5. Familiar with China labour law and relevant regulations. Has good knowledge of one of the HR functions- compensation & benefits, training and development, staffing, employee relations/industrial relations, etc.
  6. Good written English, Chinese and fluent in speaking of mandarin.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Communication, negotiation, coaching, counseling and other inter-personal skills.
  9. Comfortable in matrix organization setting and effective in virtual team environment.
