Senior Sales Engineer

Our Client is the world's leading manufacturer in the field of electrical connector.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Assist Branch Sales Manager to manage distributors, maintain current customers and explore new sales market.
2. Use a combination of conducting technical seminars with Technical Support and other innovative communication means to achieve objectives.
3. Provide technical support and advice to customers and sales force within assigned projects and product groups, including application problems, job-site attendance, testing, product performance and liability, customer complaints, etc.
4. Develop new applications; identify market trends, and business potential for key projects by means of competitor analysis, market analysis, new product and applications evaluation.
5. Assist the Branch Manager and Project Manager in technical training and communication function for sales forces and selected product line.
6. Plan and make effective sales calls each day with a balanced mix ratio between office and customer as requested by Branch Sales Managers.
7. Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records such as customer information, daily activity records, and itineraries, etc.
8. Provide sales leads and cooperate with customer service departments to maximize sales opportunities and insure a consistent high level of customer service.
9. Collaborate with the Marketing Department for the adequate promotional activities and materials.
10. Cooperate with Project Sales Engineer to follow up projects progress, and provide support to Key Account Executive for key accounts service.
11. In charge of credit check and payment collection towards various customers, make sure that credit is under control.
12. Maintain a good care of all company provided assets, including office furniture, office machinery, demonstration items, sales manuals and other related items.
13. Keep a good relationship with the customers and propose new business.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree above in industrial automation or automation control area;
2. At least 3-5 years sales experiences in electric or components, apparatus production firm, or at least 2 year working experiences in tracking and operation in the above fields. Experience in design institute is an advantage;
3. Have the capability and experience in distributor management and key account development;
4. Task-oriented, clear job target and planning;
5. Be mature, honest, self-discipline, integrity and teamwork spirit;
6. Willing to trip frequently, and can work under high pressure;
7. Good communication skills with written & spoken in Chinese and English;
8. Good computer skills in MS Office.
