Purchasing Assistant Manager

Our Client is a French company in FMCG business, located in Pudong District Report to: GM

Main Responsibilities:

- To assist Purchasing Manager to build a solid / effective / efficient purchasing team, in individual categories such as: Travel retail & promotional items, PLV & CRM

- To achieve score card Targets such as: OTIF, QC, price stabilization, Asian sourcing…

- To provide good service to concerned LVMH filling plant / distribution centers with components in line with the quality specification;

- To assist Purchasing Manager on the sourcing & strategy & performance management of Asian suppliers;

- To assist Purchasing Manager on the price control & to develop and implement detailed cost saving action plan;

- To coordinate efficiently with concerned other departments

- To train & develop subordinators;

Key Requirements:

- 5 to 8 years of sourcing function in related areas, cosmetics is preferred;

- Service, Quality, Timing orientated + good inter-personal skills;

- Good negotiation skills as well as all other sourcing professional skills;

- Experience and knowledge about planning, procurement, logistic, stock evaluation…

- Good communication skill and efficient team work playing is essential;

- Dedicated, rigorous, tenacious, honest, open-minded, proactive;

- Fluent in English in oral and writing; French is a plus;
