Sales Manager

Our Client develops, manufactures and sells a wide range of high precision materials testing instruments, in particular hardness testers and hardness testing solutions. The company has a wide network of distributors all around the word who provide sales and after sales service for the entire product range.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting of potential customers in China via trade directories, personal contacts and the Internet.
2. Initial introduction of the company to these prospective distributors.
3. Preparing shortlist of potential distributors to be visited
4. Preparing quotations against specific enquiries and establishing a close relationship with key customers.
5. Attendance of trade exhibitions where required.
6. Processing of sales orders on the company’s ERP system.
7. Ad hoc sales and marketing duties as required.

Key Requirements:

  1. • 3 years above working experience in at least one of the areas listed below , and working experience in MNC preferred:Sales or sales development or Market development;
  2. • Outgoing personality;
  3. • Good communication skill (attentive listening, express himself clearly);
  4. • Self confidence in dealing with internal and external customers;
  5. • Self-motivated;
  6. • To get along with people of diverse backgrounds;
  7. • Result oriented;
  8. • Project management skill preferred;
  9. • Able to meet travel requirements (~ 40% of working time).
